A little bit of angst and fluff, now that I've finally seen the movie and fallen in love with the Goldstein sisters.

Title: All I Ever Needed (Maybe Not All I Want)
Rating: PG
Fandom: Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them (Movies)
Characters/Pairings: Queenie Goldstein, Tina Goldstein, mention of Jacob and Newt. Queenie & Tina, Queenie/Jacob, Tina/Newt
Summary: "They didn't normally crawl into bed together. Not anymore, anyway. Not since they were little girls, really, with nobody in the world except each other. Well. A few times since then. Really bad days, here or there. Sometimes good ones, too." Queenie and Tina, after Jacob walks into the rain, and then after Newt sets sail for England. Goldsteins don't give up. Now while they have each other
Wordcount: 1383
Warnings/Notes: SPOILERS. Post-movie. Angst and fluff, comfort, sisters sharing a bed, loss, hope, decisions, determination, hopeful ending
Disclaimer: Not mine

Of the first arc anyway. I think I'll finish this one here, and if/when some more comes, I'll put it in a sequel? I figured this would be a good break, between his kingdom and hers. As always, continuation of the fic started here.

Title: Morning Vows
Rating: PG-13
Universe: Lioness and Lamb
Characters/Pairings: Fami and Calime, Fami/Calime
Summary: Their first shared morning, Fami and Calime wake slowly, share some cold truths, and perhaps some warmer promises
Wordcount: 2607
Warnings/Notes: Arranged marriages, kingdom politics, war and aftermath, personal responses, compromise and promises
Claimer: Still mostly mine

And again, continuing the reversed Beauty & the Beast fic.

Title: Wedding Night
Rating: PG-13
Universe: Lioness and Lamb
Characters/Pairings: Calime, Fami, mention of others. Calime/Fami

Wordcount: 2299
Warnings/Notes: Arranged marriages, wedding nights, fear, compromise, non-sexual intimacy
Claimer: Mine

Okay, so I'm not sure how far I'm going with this, but I figured I'd see how far I'd get. Also, people wanted a little bit of Fami POV, which randomly turned into family feels. Um. Not quite sure how that happened, but I actually like Maoric? Heh. Continuing the reversed Beauty & the Beast fic.

Title: Wedding Presents
Rating: PG-13
Universe: Lioness and Lamb

Claimer: Still mostly mine

A little bit of a continuation of the reversed Beauty & the Beast fic, for those who wanted to see the Beast’s POV on the proceedings.

Universe: Lioness and Lamb
Characters/Pairings: Calime (the She-Beast), Fami, mentions of Kaeri and Maoric. Fami/Calime
Summary: Calime, the she-beast, takes an evening to get to know her promised husband/hostage better. They don't get as far as logistically complicated, but still it's all she might have hoped for and more
Wordcount: 2197
Warnings/Notes: Arranged marriages, hostages, relationship negotiation, threatening gestures, romantic gestures. They're complicated?
Claimer: More or less mine.

I'm mostly in the mood for original fic lately, it seems. Odd, rather dark little bit of a thing.

Title: Logistically Complicated
Rating: PG-13
Universe: Lioness and Lamb
Characters/Pairings: Original characters. Maoric, Fami, Kaeri, the She-Beast
Summary: A tiny bit of a reverse Beauty & the Beast. The beautiful scholar prince of a conquered country is given in marriage to the monstrous warrior queen of their conquerors, in an effort to keep his family and his kingdom safe. It's possible that his new wife didn't expect him to be quite as pragmatic about it as he is, though. To be fair, his family didn't either.
Wordcount: 1960
Warnings/Notes: Fantasy, Beauty & the Beast elements, conquest, war, loss, arranged marriage, political marriage, self-sacrifice, interspecies relationship, curiosity, challenge, manipulation, respect
Claimer: Mostly mine

Haven't watched or written OUAT in ages, but hey. Written for a prompt on [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic: "Cora doesn't take out her own heart." Probably a lot happier and relatively healthier than that would actually have gone, mind, but I still adore Cora and the twisted, ferocious thing she and Rumple had. If she'd chosen to turn her formidable will to that, instead of power, I can't help but wonder how it would have turned out. What she said to Regina, "You would have been enough". I would have liked to see that.

Title: All or Nothing
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Once Upon A Time (TV)
Characters/Pairings: Cora, Rumpelstiltskin, Regina, mention of Neal/Baelfire. Cora/Rumple, Cora & Rumple & Regina
Summary: A glimpse of how things might potentially have gone if Cora hadn't removed her own heart. If she had chosen the love she had for Rumpelstiltskin, and borne him the child she'd promised him, and made him realise he loved her too
Wordcount: 2512
Warnings/Notes: Alternate universe, canon divergence, villains in love, families, mother & daughter, father & daughter, fate, choices, magic, determination

Random thing that came into my head. I haven't been staring at Nick's face for a while, I swear.

One more quick story before I go to bed for two days and pretend that work is a thing that happens to other people. Heh. Not a prompt fic this time. I thought I'd try Nick/F!SS.

Title: Mornings Grey and Bright
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Fallout 4
Characters/Pairings: Female Sole Survivor, Nick Valentine, Ellie Perkins. Nick/F!SS, Nick & Ellie
Summary: Nora wakes up achey and exhausted at the Valentine Detective Agency, and shambles out into the office to find a half-dressed and rather startled Nick Valentine staring at her. To be fair, she's doing some staring herself. It's not a bad sight to wake up to of a morning
Wordcount: 3928
Warnings/Notes: Exhaustion, aches and pains, unexpected nakedness, embarrassment, coffee, explanations, banter, attraction, insecurity, comfort, romance, happy ending
Disclaimer: Not mine

Written for a [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic prompt about a character being mistaken for a vampire but actually being something a lot stranger than that. I have no idea why this was what resulted -_-;

Title: Yves
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Original Urban Fantasy
Characters/Pairings: The Narrator, Great-Aunt Yvonne, Yves. Yves/Yvonne
Summary: Sometimes, for entirely understandable reasons, you end up under the impression that your great-aunt's secret lover may or may not be a vampire. Sometimes, it turns out that the universe is a whole lot stranger than that. All's well that end's well, though. Or close enough, anyway.
Wordcount: 7530
Warnings/Notes: First person. Violence, serial killers, vampires, spirits, violence, rescue, guardians, reincarnation, romance, age difference, happy ending
Claimer: Yep, one of mine

Yves )
I think I like these two. I wanted something that dealt with the shooting, and the scar, and Childermass ended up half-naked, which is perhaps never a bad thing. They have a lot to deal with, though. They are a darkling joy.

Title: Of A Morning
Rating: PG
Fandom: Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (TV)
Characters/Pairings: John Childermass, Emma Pole, John/Emma
Summary: An angry woman barging into your room while you are half-naked and bathing is not the best start to a morning. There are things, both grudges and comforts, that need airing between John Childermass and Lady Pole, however, and they are not inclined to wait for a more decorous hour. Perhaps, as it turns out, quite fortunately
Wordcount: 3875
Warnings/Notes: Mornings, bathing, confrontations, anger, scars, reconciliation, angst & humour, hurt/comfort, desire, kissing, happy ending
Disclaimer: Not mine

I'm browsing my scraps folder and salvaging whatever looks salvageable at the moment. I think this goes with Unexpected Gambits and A Certain Physical Curiousity. I appear to have developed a fondness for Sybil/Havelock? At least as part of Sam/Sybil/Havelock, anyway.

Title: Tea and Conquest
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Discworld (Watch)
Characters/Pairings: Sybil Vimes, Havelock Vetinari. Sybil/Havelock, as part of Sam/Sybil/Havelock
Summary: "You know," Sybil commented mildly, "Rosie was asking me what it was like, to have the two most powerful men in Ankh-Morpork among my conquests." Sybil Vimes, Havelock Vetinari, and some mildly kinky flirting in his office
Wordcount: 806
Warnings/Notes: Established relationship, polyamory, flirting, oblique kink negotiation
Disclaimer: Not mine

For the following prompt on [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic: Fairy Tales, any princess, peasant girl or nobleman's daughter, (potential modern AU) (631): I want to see a guy holding a pizza and a bottle of scotch and a box of magnums. I'm a simple woman.

Title: Guns and Glass Cases
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Grimm's Fairy Tales, specifically The Glass Coffin
Characters/Pairings: Gabriele (the maiden), Leo (the tailor), Alban (the stag/brother). Gabriele/Leo, maybe slight hints of Gabriele/Leo/Alban.

Wordcount: 2922
Warnings/Notes: I suspect 'magnums' was meant to mean the ice-creams, but I couldn't resist the chance to play with one of my favourite fairytales, so I went with the guns. Mentions of crime, kidnappings, captivity, rescue, guns, recovery, family/friendship
Disclaimer: Not mine

I've been meaning to do a proper TOS crew daemon AU, where humans have daemons but many aliens don't, but it kept not working for me. Except, oddly, for these two. So. Here you go?

Title: Sarek and the Firebird
Rating: PG
Fandom: Star Trek: the Original Series
Characters/Pairings: Sarek, Amanda Grayson, Sarek/Amanda
Summary: A daemon was an embodied soul, a katra given voice and form and left to walk outside its owner. Sarek found that such a strange and alien idea, even still. And yet, despite that, he could not help but find her beautiful, this human woman and her peacock soul
Wordcount: 2329
Warnings/Notes: AU, daemon AU, interspecies relationship, alien cultural differences, romance, marriage proposals
Disclaimer: Not mine

Written for the following prompt on [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic: "So when are you getting a ring on that finger?" "I'm working on it."

Title: A Thief's Challenge
Rating: PG
Universe: Thieves Guild
Characters/Pairings: Analina Mandavas (Queen of Thieves), Roget Devuy. Analina/Roget

Wordcount: 3820
Warnings/Notes: Criminals, casual discussion of crime, romance, childhood friends, marriage proposal
Claimer: Mine

Written, as always, for a prompt on [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic. It was a lyrics prompt, and the lyrics in question are under the cut.

Title: Threnody

Warnings/Notes: Death and dismemberment in a Dionysian dance (alliteration ahoy!), music and legacy, love and reunion in death
Disclaimer: Not mine

Threnody )
A slightly morbid fill for a prompt on [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic, because I'm listening to Diana Krall and generally in an odd humour. The prompt was: any/any, (n.) a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person.

Title: A Reaper Come Lately
Rating: PG
Fandom: Original
Characters/Pairings: Alma/Richard
Summary: An old woman, freshly dead, finds a not-so-grim reaper with a familiar face come to take her home. Being who they are, they can't help but have an argument in the process. Oh, but it's good to have him again
Wordcount: 1645
Warnings/Notes: Death, ghosts, bodies, grim reapers, some morbidity, but also marriage, arguing, reunions, love, happy endings
Claimer: Mine. More or less.

Title: Pale Jewel
Rating: PG
