The problem with an attic bedroom is that when the weather kicks up, like now ... well, the rain hitting the metal point of theroof sounds like Animal on timpani, and the gale is making me mildly nervous that I'm going to wake up with my bed in a tree a couple of miles away. Or possibly the river.

At the same time, though, there is something mildly thrilling about being *this close* to it all.
