Random TV shows that I've rediscovered over the past few days:
- Big Wolf on Campus. It used to be on Saturday mornings when I was younger. *grins* I'd mostly forgotten it, actually. And it is ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous, in that overblown, cheesy, never-take-anything-seriously kind of way. And also a rather alarming amount of fun. *grins*
- Relic Hunter. We used to watch it in our grandmother's house, because we couldn't afford the channel it was on at the time (we had exactly four television channels). Again, rather ridiculous in places, and some of the things they do make me cringe (breaking into a museum exhibit to steal a 17th century document, grave-robbing, ignoring more or less everything to do with context and scientific process), but I'd also forgotten how adorable Nigel was, and how much fun it could be watching him and Sydney play off each other.
- The Fugitive. The 1960s series. Which I hadn't actually seen before, only the 1993 movie, but it was absolutely familiar to me nonetheless. Not from the movie, but from having watched episodes of The Incredible Hulk as a kid. *grins* The lone hero, walking the earth, accused of a crime he didn't commit, persued by an honourable, dogmatic foe. Apparently The Fugitive inspired something of a slew of those. And I remembered why I adore that dymanic, the hunter and innocent prey thing, that I loved in Les Miserables too. I think the Incredible Hulk was probably responsible for a lot of things in my childhood, actually. Him and the A-team. *grins*
- Miracles. Which I only saw for the first time a couple of years back, but loved nonetheless. I love Keel, for all I think he's a bit of an arrogant so-and-so, and I keep wanting to slap Paul upside the head and then give him a hug. Also, he should listen to Pappi's advice, and stop getting hit with things! *snickers*
I also browsed for fanfiction on all of the above, but all appear to be very, very small fandoms, those that have fandoms at all. *grins* Still, I suppose they stand well enough on their own. Heh.
