I'm kinda exhausted over here (family went out for dinner - between way more food than I'm used to, the cold, and the people, I'm kinda bushed -_-;). Heh. I'm just gonna relax for an hour or two, I think, then head to bed.
First, though, a small question? What is it about the state of Maine? Seriously. It seems to be the location of choice for weird-ass shit in fiction. *blinks* I'm just tallying up Haven and Once Upon A Time, Dark Shadows and Kingdom Hospital, heck, even Murder She Wrote (incidentally, that's just begging for a crossover). That's in TV land. In literature, we've got everything Stephen King ever wrote (though, now that I think of it, that could be causal, there, considering two of the above are based on him), even Lovecraft himself, though that was more general New England. Then films like Casper and a surprising number of random horror movies. Just ... What is it about Maine?
(Also? Once Upon A Time is also kinda awesome. Well. No. But it has Robert Carlyle in, and surprisingly badass fairytales, and the hammiest Evil Queen since Tin Man, which is close enough to the same thing. *grins*)
