This was going to be a Beren & Raidan fic, to answer zarz29's prompt on the meme, but then, somehow, it turned into Zen and Shaiar (admittedly, about Beren and Raidan), and the birth of Zen's move to become head of the Guild, and even, perhaps, the first inklings of the plan that will later result in mortalisation of Aruk, years down the line. *blinks, shrugs* It got away from me, is what I'm saying. *shrugs sheepishly*
