This week has been the week from hell. I just ... I give up. I do.
At three o' clock last night, my sister fell down the stairs and broke/sprained her ankle (not sure yet, too swollen, but it doesn't seem broken - *fingers crossed*). What with mam collapsing on Monday, this week has just ... Augh! Week from HELL.
Apologies for only being online long enough to complain at people recently, by the way -_-;
Also, random aside, I've been browsing back through Lord of the Rings lately. And since Two Towers was always my favourite, I was rereading the Helms Deep sequences. And I was kinda wondering if Helms Deep, the name of the place, has become a kind of black little injoke among the Rohirrim. Heh. Considering what a 'helm' is, I mean, and considering the purpose to which the fortress is usually put. Helms Deep, fortress (technically, valley, the Hornburg is the fortress, but you know what I mean) of Helm Hammerhand, and also the refuge of last resort for those occasions when we are literally helms-deep in enemies. As in, up to our necks/over our heads. Heh.
... Never mind. I'm not right in the head, at present. Oi vey. *shakes head at self*
