Okay. So today I had a meeting with lecturer for that big horrible one that's freaking me out so bad? I was hoping maybe he would let me record it or something, sit up front once I'd worked up to going in there at all so I could leave if I had to? No.
No. Instead, he tells me that there's no point in my getting myself so worked and stressed trying to do something that obviously freaks me out that badly, and instead offers to give me a short one-to-one tutorial-type session every wednesday, provided I keep up with the online readings for the course, and get the textbook.

Hell yes! I ... honestly did not expect that level of understanding, and willingness to put himself out for me. I'm just one of two hundred people in his class. But that's what he offered, and like hell I was turning it down! Gift horse, and all that.
Gods, that is such a huge weight off my mind. I don't have to go in there at all, not until january when they change lecturers, but he offered to talk to the upcoming lecturer about that too ... Basically, he was an incredibly nice and accommodating person, and I am hugely, hugely relieved!
