One problem of reading a lot of the Flashman books in close succession is that, completely aside from slipping into a more Victorian manner of speaking, I've started to think of myself as having 'poonts', instead of breasts.

It occurs to me that thinking of myself the way a Victorian scoundrel would have is possibly not the best self-image possible. *grin*

*grin* I'm quite fond of Harry Flashman, as it happens. I've no idea why, especially when he knows that women like him, and uses the fact whenever he possibly can. But at the same time ... you really can't help liking him.
