Okay. So. Part 1 of the Avengers Prohibition AU (masterlist behind link). Prequel (by a year or so) to Vision in Green/Vision in Blue (there are a couple more stories planned before we catch up to those two). Tony's start of darkness, as it were.

So, I'm in a Rhodey mood, apparently, and I was watching Macross Plus AMVs. *shrugs sheepishly* My apologies in advance to anyone who knows anything about the USAF, aerial combat, or the technology of flight, because I'm pretty positive this bears no resemblence to any of them. *grins faintly*

Summary: So a SHIELD pilot apparently insulted not only Stark tech, but the US Air Force, in the form of one Lt. Col. Rhodes. Neither Rhodey or Tony are gonna take that one lying down. (Or, the one where Rhodey and Tony randomly play Top Gun in Helicarrier airspace, and Nick Fury is a sneaky-ass SOB)
