Does anyone remember an old 60s British show called The Champions? Three agents of Nemesis crash on a mission in the Tibetan Himalayas, and are given superpowers, and spend the rest of the series using them on various spy missions? I saw an episode of it today, sort of by accident, and remembered the series ...

*grins* It occurs to me, possibly owing to RTEs cheap-ass programming, that I grew up (in the 90s) watching lots and lots of reruns of old shows. The likes of The A-team, The Professionals, The Champions, The Man From UNCLE, The Sweeney, The New Avengers, The Dukes of Hazzard (I'm noticing a 'The ______' trend, here ...). Sapphire and Steel, Callan, Randall & Hopkirk, Raffles, Blake's 7 and The Equilizer all came later, admittedly. But ... for a kid born in late 80s, I spent a lot of my childhood in the 60s/70s/80s. *grins*

I wonder how many of them are available on DVD? The Champions, probably not, but I think I remember seeing The New Avengers and The Professionals, definitely. *muses* Must look into that. Heh.
