My brain is currently set on idle (I suspect I'm about to collapse for the night), and for some reason my mind keeps wandering back to the phrase. I've no idea if it's a local colloquialism, or something more widespread, and I've no idea what the origins are (though I'd very much like to), but it just occurred to me that I've never heard anyone outside our family use the verb 'to womace', meaning to stroll/amble. As in "I'll just womace down to the shops, do you want anything?" *tilts head* It's a bit like the Scots 'stravaigin', I think, in meaning at least, but I've never heard it around, and I've only just realised that. Huh.

*blinks, shakes head* Wow. I think I need sleep, yes? Heh.
