fanficrants, particularly during weeks like this one, because it tends to make me paranoid (I usually just browse through every so often for the funny mistakes people make, and stay away from the we-have-a-genuine-problem rants, because ... well, mostly self-preservation).
I keep wondering sometimes why I've never had someone, you know, flame or rant or yell at one of my stories. I mean, nice people point out typos, and bits of stories that are confusing them, and places I got my facts wrong and stuff, but that's about it (for which, by the by, thanks all). A lot of the stuff people seem to rant about, I'm pretty sure I've done, so ... Possibly I just keep getting lucky in terms of flist and communities and things? *shrugs, smiles*
But. Anyway. Particular question. Have I, in your opinion, ever been unfair to a character (or group, or idea, I guess)? I mean, I know I quite obviously favour some characters over others, because I have favourites, who get more fic time than others, but I think everyone does that? I mean more, in an actual fic, have I ever treated a character or their ideals badly/with contempt? In any fandom that you've seen me write in?
