I've now just passed one hundred and sixty thousand (160,000) words of Avengers fanfic, since April. *blinks*
And before you ask, I'm blaming the fact that it's my first AO3 fandom for the fact that I'm actually calculating these things. I noticed that AO3 automatically tallies the total wordcount for series for you (Weregild apparently weighed in at 40k by the end, Nigel&Nikola at 25k. Arrangements hit 90k before I ran out of steam. Wind at Midnight made 55k, and Gotham Noir made it to 36k before I failed out of it too. JARVIS is currently weighing in at 27k), and the rest was history. *grins sheepishly*
... Which means that, in five years on LJ, across four main phase fandoms (SPN/GO, Sanctuary, DC, Avengers), in six long stories/verses (3 completed, 2 failed out, 1 ongoing), I've written something in excess of two hundred and seventy three thousand (273,000) words. *blinks a lot* On six stories.
Um. I spend a lot of time on this hobby? *grins sheepishly* Oi. Understatement, maybe. Heh.
