I think I'm getting the hang of tours now. Though, um. How do you tell the difference between being energised by your job and being hyped up on the adrenalin of a panic-attack perpetually delayed? *grins sheepishly* I get nervous speaking in front of people, which is naturally why I did drama and public speaking and debating and why I'm now working part time as a tour guide. Obviously.

I think I do enjoy it, though. The past few weeks, since starting this part of the job, I've been coming home with a lot more energy and going in in the mornings with a lot less headache-y dread. Now that I've most of the knowledge I need to back myself up, I'm a lot easier about dealing with people and questions, and basically any day that doesn't involve being the mobile component of a dishwashing conveyor belt is comparative bliss -_-;

I got a comment today that the tour was very interesting and I obviously know my stuff. Which, considering that this was my third tour ever, made me pretty bouncy and happy with myself. *smiles crookedly* I like being able to do stuff right. Heh.

*shakes head* Anyway. Horribly egotistic meme, since I do one along these lines about annually, and today seems like a good day for it?

If you had to pick one story of mine to tell people to read, what would it be?
