Idle curiosity

Okay, this is mainly because I'm curious and because I was reminded of it earlier when talking with Ilyena_sylph, but:

If you were pressed to a decision, which two human virtues would you say you value most highly?

A friend asked me that once, and it took me about two days to answer her, but in the end when pushed, I went with Honour and Loyalty, though neither alone, and neither blind. I value a lot of human attributes, but those two are the ones I would want most in a friend, and admire most in an enemy.

My sister said that Hope was one of her chosen two, because without it anything else would lose meaning, and in some respects I agree with her. I'd rank Hope up there as a close third.

So. If anyone feels inclined to indulge my curiosity, I'd love to know what you feel here.
