Well, technically two double-drabbles, and two drabble-and-a-halfs. What? I'm crap at editing!
Disclaimer: DO NOT OWN.
Based on 2003 tv series.

Also, Donnie happens to be my favourite turtle. Ah. You may notice this.

Title: Monsters
Rating: PG-13
Summary: After Good Genes. Donnie muses on the monster within. Also spoilers for SAINW.
Wordcount: 200

Monster

Don knew it had hurt his brothers to see him as a monster. But strangely, it hadn't hurt him so much. Part of that was that he couldn't remember it, of course, but Donnie had known for some time that he had a monster inside him, waiting to come out. A far deadlier one than the slavering thing Bishop's outbreak had unleashed. He had learned that in Shredder's distopian future.

He had learned in that world that he was a far more monstrous person than any of his brothers. He had learned that when he was pushed to it, when he was driven past what his inate passivism could hold, he was a terrible enemy. While Raph had turned to impotent rage, Leo sank into a stupor of guilt, and Mikey just tried to keep as many people as possible alive, Donnie had done something different. He had, with absolute determined calm, engineered a way to wipe Shredder off the face of the Earth. And he had succeeded, sacrificing everything in that world that mattered to him in the process.

He had a monster inside him, alright, one far worse than any mutated animal.

In some ways, it was almost human.

Title: Rain
Rating: PG
Summary: Donnie and Raph, rooftop, rain. Not slash (I generally don't do 'cest)
Wordcount: 200

Rain

Raph looked over at his brother, struggling to hold in his smile as Don stood there, bag of gear held disconsolately in his hands as his face creased into a disappointed frown, rainwater dripping steadily over his eyes. Finally, heaving out a sigh, Donnie sat down in a miserable huddle of turtle on the roof, bag instinctively tucked safely on his lap. Only then did Raph come over, grinning down at his huffy sibling.

“What, ya don't got a gizmo to stop water carrying electricity?” he asked, amused. Don frowned up at him for a second, before his eyes went vague and distant, the way they did when he was seriously considering something you'd said. Raph shook his head. “That was a joke, Don.”

“I know!” Don explained, then smiled. “It's just, now that you've said it ...”

“Yeah,” Raph finished, exasperated. “Leave it to you, Brainiac!”

“I can't help it,” Donnie grinned, then looked down at his soaked hands. “But there's nothing I can do tonight, anyway.”

Raph looked down at him, then out over the vast high-rise vista of New York, made dark and slick and challenging by the downpour. He grinned.

“Night's still young, Brainiac!”

And Don smiled.

Title: Watch
Rating: PG
Summary: Mikey bugs Don at work.
Wordcount: 150

Watch

“Hey, Donnie!” Mikey bounced over beside his brother. Of course, that wasn't actually what he did, as being a Ninja he made no sound, but sometimes the only word for the way Mikey moved was 'bounce'. “Whatcha doin', bro?”

Donnie looked up at him in confusion, and Mikey backed away from the five inches of movable goggle parts. Donnie squinted for a second, then remembered he had them on, and propped them on his forehead.

“What?” he asked.

Mikey looked over his worktable, spread with a mad scientist's array of twisty metal, wires, brass and glass, gleaming and cool in an incomprehensible kind of way. Donnie's eyes were bright and vague, his mind ticking over cheerfully behind them, his face alive with happy interest. Mikey liked that look.

“I said, whatcha doin'?” he repeated. Donnie blinked, and looked down.

“I'm fixing April's pocket watch,” he answered, as if it surprised him.

Title: April Shower
Rating: PG-13, mentions of nudity, kissing, etc
Summary: Casey walks in on April in the shower
Wordcount: 150

April Shower

“Hey babe, you home?”

April heard his voice as he came in, heard a thud as he dropped his gear messily on her floor, and sighed a little. “I'm in the shower,” she called back.

Somewhere beyond the bathroom door, she heard his voice turn endearingly sheepish. “Ah. Bad timing?” Once upon a time, he would have been leering, but since they'd gotten together he'd been so careful, almost shy. April was torn between wanting to snuggle him, and wanting to kick his ass into gear.

“Not at all,” she answered, appearing at the bathroom door dripping, wrapped in a pink towel, with foam curling lazily around her ankles. He stared at her in awe, numb fingers dropping the flower in his hand. She smiled. “In fact, why don't you join me?”

His petrified expression lasted about until his naked back hit the tiles, and she kissed him under the spray.
