"I did," she agreed. "You looked like you needed rescuing, and I needed a trophy date for the evening. You don't mind, Mr Stark?"

He blinked, an odd little grin curling on his lips. "Pep, you just dropped the price of a few Ferraris on me. I don't think 'mind' comes into it."

She pulled him close, smiling herself. "Love never does come cheap, Tony."
