Just saw it with my sisters. And immediately on leaving the cinema, we launched into a spirited ... discussion on the relative morality of each character's choices. Well. Morality is the wrong word. Maybe decency. Lets just say that we each found a point of view that the other could not readily agree with.

For that alone, even without everything else I enjoyed in this film, I say it is worth the entrance fee. It makes you think, and the people in my family who have never picked up a comic in their lives were suddenly in on the debate.

In short, totally worth it

Hee! I got my birthday dinner today! Which, since we went to the local italian, meant heaven on a plate in the form of straccetti, a gorgeous beef and tomato dish, done with balsamic vinegar. Seriously. Heaven on a plate. I finished it too soon, but then my dad, in a supreme act of chivalry and self-sacrifice, gave me some of his. I'm not being faececious. I wouldn't have parted with any of mine, but he gave me some of his. *hugs* I love my dad. And my mum, and my family, and my poor cousin whom we traumatised with comparative female anatomy.

Also, I got shinies! Early, I know, and technically I should not have opened them until tomorrow, but it was fun anyway!
