Doctor Who, Tegan, Walking out of a Life isn't Easy:
"Brave heart, Tegan."
But there are limits to how brave a heart can be. And sometimes the brave thing ... is knowing when bravery isn't enough.
MCU, Clint & Natasha, I Can't Write You a Happy Ending:
"Can't promise it'll end well," Clint says. "But I can promise I'll be along for the ride."
For her, it's good enough. It always is.
Person of Interest, Finch & Reese, Not Quite Arson:
"Was it necessary to resort to arson, Mr Reese?"
"Wasn't arson. I didn't burn it down, I blew it up. Not the same."
"... Of course."
... Now that I look at those, there's an odd progression through them, isn't there? *bemused*
