I've just played a game of chess for the first time in years! *grin* And managed to win, too, if only through fluke and instinct and the fact that my opponent was as rusty if not more. But still! I'd forgotten how much FUN the game is. And, apparently, how good at planning ten moves ahead my subconscious is, while up front I'm lucky if I realise what I'm supposed to be doing right now, let alone two moves on. Heh. The little person in the back of my skull is obviously much better at the game than I am. *grin* Shutting up now. I'm just ridiculously pleased about that. Playing, and winning. I have this teeny bit of a competitive streak, you see. *laughs*
