One: to [livejournal.com profile] shadadukal, who bought me extra icon space, THANK YOU! *grins and twirls you* Thank you! If you want anything in return, a fic, or something, hon, you only have to ask! *bounces, hugs you*

Second: High Steel Documentary

Found this while randomly searching for high steel images. I have a ... thing with the idea of high steel. Life on a steel spiderweb, sometimes hundreds of feet in the air. It evokes ... so much. I love it, for all I know the realities of it. It still ... pings something. Heh.
*bounces excitedly* Sorry, sorry, I never get why people sometimes do this for me, but it's awesome and I must share. *grins*

[livejournal.com profile] nimmenstjer just posted a little drabble and fanart for my (incomplete) story The Blue-Eyed Sorceror and the Djinn. *grins* They're both awesome, and you can see them here on my journal. *grins* If you go for a look, please do comment to tell the artist, yes?

*bounces happily some more*

Birthday fic for [livejournal.com profile] hopeofdawn . I'm really, really nervous about this one, because it's inspired by a piece of her gorgeous, gorgeous art, a piece called SunDance (http://hopeofdawn.livejournal.com/180196.html#cutid1), and basically can't compare. But. The art is beautiful, and it's her birthday, and I wanted to try.

Title:  Sun Dance
Rating:  PG
Wordcount:  550
Notes:  Abstract, a moment only. Also, please excuse the spacing and sizing problems. This computer is nowhere near as intuitive as my own, and has strange ideas about cut-and-paste. -_-;

[profile] stalinglim offered me another piece of her genius, this time in response to Takes Three to Tango. And I'm sorry, but I have to share. It's gorgeous!

And the star burned brightly, falling from the sky,
and Mars glowed red, and the sun burned bright,
But the star fell, burning, into the night.

[profile] stalinglimwrote this for me in response to 'Promises', and it's nearly more beautiful than the original. At least, I think so. Here, look:

He dies dancing in darkness, flying with grace,

in the arms of his lover, a smile on his face.

He dies with a legacy, the promise fulfilled,

A death sweeter than the batman had willed.

He dies not the bat but the man,

with his family around him and someone holding his hand.

                                                                                               Stalinglim

See what I mean?
