Martin's experience of 1x05 "Fail Safe". Yes, I am obsessed with this episode. It's my favourite, and Martin ... Oh god, poor Martin.

Frantic bit of a thing that came out of nowhere. I wanted Thawne vs Zoom, and by now we all know how caught up I am with Cisco, Harry, and the history with Thawne. So. Um. Apologies in advance.

Fandom: The Flash (2014)
Characters/Pairings: Cisco Ramon, Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells, Earth-2 Harrison Wells, Barry Allen, Zoom, mention of Caitlin and Joe. Cisco & Thawne, Barry & Thawne, Cisco & Harry
Summary: Cisco has a dream (it has to be a dream, a nightmare) where Zoom is routed by the ghost of Eobard Thawne. It's not a reprieve. Even in a dream, it's not a reprieve. Thawne will always be the greater of their monsters

Fix-it (sort of) for certain aspects of Ep 2x13. I just need this. Warning in advance, in case of confusion with Ray Palmer, E-2 Martin thinks of his Ronnie as 'Raymond'. I wanted something of a reverse of our Firestorm. Martin & Raymond vs Stein & Ronnie. And, um. Deathstorm broke me to pieces, okay?

Title: Lacuna
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: The Flash (2014)

Again, for a kink meme prompt. I apologise for the spam the last few days, by the way, I'm just having a rough week in work and apparently writing about post-apocalyptic robot detectives is soothing to me. Um. Also. The story features the Stranger as a possibly immortal mission-oriented serial killer slash minor eldritch abomination. I don't know that much about the Mysterious Stranger, not having played the games, this is just based on whatever info I could find on various wikis plus some random insanity. Apologies in advance.

Title: The Lights of their Eyes
Rating: Light R
Fandom: Fallout 4, Fallout
Characters/Pairings: Nick Valentine, the Mysterious Stranger, brief cameos by M!SS and Piper. Nick Valentine/The Mysterious Stranger
Summary: Nick Valentine finally catches up with the Mysterious Stranger. The confrontation doesn't really go any way he might have thought to expect. Turns out the Stranger finds being seen rather ... intriguing
Wordcount: 4542
Warnings/Notes: Prompt fic, shaky canon knowledge, robots/androids, detectives, immortal serial killers, chases, confrontations, anger, fascination, touching, kissing

Slightly late for Halloween, but I thought I do a bit of an expansion of my little 100 word drabble The Wanderer. I'm still in a bit of a ghostly mood.

Title: Cainsford Fourteen Miles
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Original Work (Suitcase Wanderers universe)
Characters/Pairings: Sandra, Anna, Ephraim, the White Lady. Anna & Ephraim
Summary: The Cainsford Fourteen, the last stretch of road into Cainsford, has been haunted for years. Everyone who drives the 19A, the night route into town, knows that good and well. This time, though, Sandra has a passenger aboard who might be able to help
Wordcount: 6035
Warnings/Notes: Ghosts, haunted roads, white ladies, skeletons, bodies, violence, protection, closure, moving on, moving forward, hopeful ending
Claimer: This one's mine

A tiny thing based on that footnote in 'Seventeen Dead Neapolitans', the one with John Uskglass, Henry Barbatus, Willian of Lanchester and Thomas of Dundale, because it has an amazing amount of implied horror and anger and grief in it.

Title: Gravefrost and Wormwood
Rating: R, but mostly by implication
Fandom: Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (bookverse)
Characters/Pairings: Thomas of Dundale, William of Lanchester, discussed John Uskglass and Henry Barbatus. Little bit of Thomas/William, maybe
Summary: William of Lanchester and Thomas of Dundale, after their King has cast them from the room in order to continue interrogating Henry Barbatus, while horror, grief and anger carry them away
Wordcount: 2371
Warnings/Notes: Um. Grave robbing, resurrection, interrogation of a(n aware) corpse, violence towards said corpse, anger, rage and horror as a result of same. Wow that little footnote had a lot to work with in two paragraphs.

Random thing. I've been trying for Strange/Childermass for a while.

Title: Lightly Hold the Rein
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (TV)
Characters/Pairings: Jonathan Strange, John Childermass, Gilbert Norrell, mention of Arabella Strange and Jeremy Johns. Strange/Childermass, Childermass/Norrell, Jonathan/Arabella
Summary: Vampire AU. When Jonathan is forced to go for some time without feeding, Norrell grudgingly allows that he might drink from Childermass this once. Childermass takes this very much in stride, though it would not be true to say that he surrenders to it. That, he offers to only one vampire
Wordcount: 5058
Warnings/Notes: AU, Vampires, Blood Hunger, Feeding, Master & Servant, Backstory, Angst, Control, Defiance, Challenge, Surrender, Victory, Loyalty, Love

A small addendum to The King's Roads that got rather long on me. I wanted h/c in the aftermath of the previous story, Childermass and Grant's journey north and everyone's fear/grief over it. I wanted post-apocalyptic family feels, mostly. What I ended up with was angry Emma, unconscious Childermass, and poor Major Grant getting yelled at a bit. And family feels. Heh. My apologies to all. Venturing a little towards Emma/Segundus/Childermass, with Jonathan/Arabella and possibly hints of Jonathan/Arabella/undead!Grant as well. Because I'm cracked. Maybe hints of Stephen/Vinculus too.

Title: The King's Roads: Family Disputes
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (TV)

Ensemble, hinted Emma/John/John, Arabella/Jonathan(/Grant) and possibly Stephen/Vinculus, as well as Emma & Arabella
Summary: In which there are unconscious spies, angry warriors, sheepish undead majors, much hurt/comfort and the odd threat of shooting
Wordcount: 4102
Warnings/Notes: Post-Apocalyptic AU, mentions of past horrors, mention of loss of limbs, hurt/comfort, anger, families of choice, protectiveness, relief

This was written (somewhat hastily) for a prompt on the kink meme, which I have just discovered and which makes me very happy. This was possibly not exactly to the prompt, as I never got as far as the Raven King's return, but I hope it's not too far wrong.

I am beginning to realise how much I really, really, really love the darker kinds of passion in fic. (Shush, yes, I know I should probably have figured that out well before now). Looking back over my fic, it's kind of obvious that I really do like the more savage side of love.

I don't play the game, but someone who does showed me all the 'Meet The Team' videos, and this has been niggling at me ever since 'Meet the Medic'. It is, please pardon the language, fucked up beyond belief. I have never written anything like this before, and I sort of don't know what to do with it. So. Ah. Warnings in advance, heed all the warnings, and I'm so very sorry.

Title: The Tell-Tale Heart
Rating: HARD R

Following from Old Blood and New. There's a lot of the Morte D'Arthur version in this, but essentially I'm picking whichever bits/versions of the mythology will be the most angsty. *grins sheepishly*

Title: Sins of the Father
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: The Librarians (2014), Arthurian Myth
Characters/Pairings: Jenkins, Dulaque, Jake Stone, mention of Morgan Le Fay, Guinevere and Arthur. Jenkins & Dulaque, Lancelot/Guinevere, Jenkins & Jake
Summary: Jenkins receives a second unwelcome caller in as many weeks, and after what happened with Morgan he's not sure he can bear it. The news of what happened isn't something Dulaque can leave unanswered, however. No matter how many grudges, old and new, are dredged up in the process. At least Jake is there to ease the aftermath.
Wordcount: 5658
Warnings/Notes: Discussion of bastard sons, betrayal, rape, civil war ... all the fun stuff from Arthurian myth. In the present, a fractured father-son relationship, hurt/comfort, angst

The Jenkins/Galahad, Lancelot/Dulaque, Lucinda McCabe/Morgan Le Fay thing is obviously still in my head, and I'm still kind of in the mood for Jenkins!whump. So. Um. Yes. You get something dark and horrible drawing on Arthurian myth?

Fandom: The Librarians (2014), Arthurian Myth
Characters/Pairings: Jenkins, Morgan le Fay, Eve, Flynn, Ezekiel, Cassandra, Jake, mention of Lancelot. Jenkins & Team (especially Ezekiel & Eve), unrequited Morgan/Lancelot, implied Eve/Flynn
Summary: Morgan Le Fay had waited a long time to find Galeas again. A long time, for old debts and old vengeances to come due. She knows where he is, now. There is still a price to be paid for a parent's sin. Whether his little Librarians can pick up the pieces once it's paid is another story altogether.

For the following prompt on [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic: Reese's secret is that he's a werewolf but while Finch passes well for being a regular human there's something... off.

Title: Where The World Grows Thin
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Person of Interest
Characters/Pairings: John Reese, Harold Finch, Supernatural Creatures, Nathan Ingram. John/Harold
Summary: There was something off about Finch. He wasn't another werewolf, wasn't an undead, wasn't anything John could pin down, but there was something wrong about him, and John knew it. He just hadn't imagined quite how wrong it might be, or how much it might cost. Dark paranormal AU

Title: Do Not Go Gentle
Rating: R
Fandom: Penny Dreadful (2014)
Characters/Pairings: Vanessa Ives, Ethan Chandler. Vanessa/Ethan, discussion of Ethan/Brona, Ethan/Dorian, Vanessa/Peter, Vanessa/Mina.

Wordcount: 2565
Warnings/Notes: Darkness, horror, possession, love, weakness & strength, transgression, temptation. Also, working on the theory/speculation that Ethan's monster is something like a werewolf, and Vanessa's is something infinitely more terrible. Title from the Dylan Thomas poem.

Originally for a prompt on [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic that went sideways on me. Title: Ginnungagap
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Avengers movieverse
